With all of the studs that Cleveland Glenville produces at wide receiver (Ray Small, Devan Jones, Ray Fisher, etc.), teams are relectant to stack the box on the Tarblooders. In 2004, that was an advantage for tailback Tim Conner, a 5'10, 185 pounder who displayed a nice combination of speed and power to break loose upfield. He wasn't one of the bigger names on the roster, but he played as big of a role as any in Glenville's success, coming up with big yardage on the ground. Currently, Conner is the stating tailback at Eastern Michigan University.
