At 6'0, 195 pounds, Nate Oliver is one of the most highly regarded athletes in Ohio for the class of 2007. He is the top ranked strong safety in Ohio, but he can also get the job done on offense at the tailback position. He has started for the Eagles since his sophomore season, and he has only continued to get better every time he steps onto the field. He leads by example, and his teammates feed off of his energy as the Eagles have been one of the more elite teams in Ohio for the last few years. On February 1, 2006, Oliver became the first player to commit to Ohio State for the class of 2007.
