At 6'2, 229 pounds, David Herron Jr. was everything that you wanted in a fullback at the high school level. He was a bruiser who made big plays whether he was carrying the ball or making key blocks. In 2001, Herron was a key component in the Raiders' powerful offense, averaging an impressive 6.2 yards per carry. He was as good of a blocker as he was a runner, making business a lot easier for Maurice Clarett. His toughness earned him a scholarship at Michigan State University, where he is currently starting at outside linebacker.
