Andre Boomer Bowling Green

At 6'1, 216 pounds, Andre Boomer was a versatile player on the defensive side of the ball. He started at defensive end, but he also provided quality depth at oiutside linebacker. His most memorable performance came in his junior year against Mentor in the 2002 Region 1 Final. Boomer led the charge on defense as he totaled 4 sacks as Warren Harding held Mentor's powerful offense, which had averaged well over 40 points per contest, to just 7 points. Following his graduation in 2004, he walked on at Bowling Green University, where he is still playing today.
